Extended Benefits: As I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), many extended health care benefits will cover the sessions; however, please check with your provider. An official receipt will be provided to submit for reimbursement.
Sliding Scale: I offer a few spots on my caseload at a lower fee for clients who are impacted by financial barriers. Please let me know if this is something that you are interested in.
Crime Victim Assistance Program: If you are a victim of, or witness to a crime where you or someone else was injured physically or emotionally, you may be eligible for financial assistance from CVAP. I am a registered counsellor with CVAP, in order to process payment through them, I will require a copy of the letter of approval for funding as well as your claim number. There is a difference in cost between my rate and the payout by CVAP, I have a limited number of spots available for clients for whom I will cover this difference in order to ensure that victims of crime/ low income people can access counseling with me at no cost to them (please inquire about the availability of these spots).
For more information, please visit the BC Crime Victim Assistance Program Website.
If you need to change/ cancel an appointment, please let me know 24-hours in advance by phone or email. If you cancel in less than 24 hours but we are able to reschedule your session for that same week, there is no charge for the cancellation. If we are unable to reschedule your session, you will be responsible to pay for the full session prior to our next appointment.
I ask that clients attend sessions scent/fragrance free. Please be mindful of strongly scented products such as deodorant and laundry detergent as well. I sometimes use essential oils in my office space, please let me know if this is a barrier for you.
